The design and construction of low-cost high-performance hybrid materials for the photocatalytic hydrogen production reaction (HER) are extremely important large-scale application energy. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) considered to be potential materials. Herein, monodisperse, small size, non-precious metal transition phosphide Ni2P is encapsulated into a typical MOF (UiO-66-NH2) as core-shell cocatalyst modify Zn0.5Cd0.5S production. wrapped in UiO-66-NH2 via an situ solvothermal method, sulfide decorated with Ni2[email protected]2 obtain ternary protected]2/Zn0.5Cd0.5S composite Photoelectric chemical characterization confirms that composites have good kinetic performance. rate 10% 10 mg reaches 40.91 mmol·g–1·h–1 apparent quantum efficiency at 420 nm 13.57%. addition increases surface area material, providing abundant sites forming efficient charge transfer channel, which conducive by photocatalysts.
